EnviroAir Systems offers anti-microbial coatings that can add an extra layer of protection to your ventilation system.

Anti-Microbial Coating

Protection that lasts

Ductwork comes in various types, and while some non-porous ductwork can be thoroughly cleaned by EnviroAir Systems technicians, an additional layer of protection can be applied with an anti-microbial coating. This coating inhibits the growth of bacteria, mold, mildew, and other fungi within certain duct systems, helping to slow the re-growth of these harmful contaminants. The effectiveness of the protection lasts as long as the coating remains intact on the surface to which it was applied.

It’s important to note that applying an anti-microbial coating is not a substitute for regular duct cleaning. However, by slowing the growth of mold, this coating can significantly extend the lifespan of your HVAC ductwork.

Benefits of Anti-Microbial Coating

Superior Protection

Provides a superior surface treatment that guards against deterioration and discoloration caused by microorganisms on the surface coating films.

Inhibits Harmful Growth

Effectively inhibits the growth of odor-causing bacteria, mold, mildew, algae, and fungi that can stain and discolor the surface of the coating.

Environmentally Friendly

The coating is water-based and free of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC), making it safe for use in indoor environments.

Ideal for Sensitive Environments

Specifically formulated for use in indoor settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, clean rooms, homes, offices, schools, and other environments where resistance to microorganisms is essential for maintaining a healthy and clean space.

Not all ductwork is suitable for this type of coating, so an HVAC Duct Inspection is required to determine if this service can benefit your system.
